The event of 2023
The wedding of Naomi & Joris.. The countdown to April 21, 2023 continues and we are looking forward to an amazing day.
We are busy with preparations for our big day. On our website you can find information about the day itself. We hope you will share in our anticipation to our big day. It will be an exclusive event that you don't want to miss.

Our love story
The Meeting
In October 2016, we both swiped right on Lexa and the first date soon followed. With a cup of tea on the couch we talked until late into the night. It was getting late... very, very, very late, but of course we kept it tidy ;).
The infatuation
Soon it felt so good that the jitters evolved into a real crush. Pff.. 1001 thoughts. How was that supposed to be with that father in America, should we let him fly over before the wedding Joris joked..
Naomi was soon introduced to Joris's parents. Because well, those birthdays in November, right? They are special days. With nodding knees to the family for father Wim's birthday. And we had a great time right away. A bit awkward, but very pleasant.
Conversely, Joris also had to go to Naomi's parents. And although Frans was a bit hesitant, this immediately felt familiar. And we even traveled to The USA to meet Naomi's father.
The marriage proposal
July 2020, a carefree holiday in a small but cozy hiker's cabin in Luxembourg. Lovely walks in nature and enjoying our first family holiday with our little Joshua. Unsuspectingly, Naomi enjoys all the beauty that passes by in the Luxembourg forests. Not knowing that Joris had already secretly informed people about the upcoming proposal. Asked for a hand with father in America and bonus father Frans. You can say that this was a well-kept secret.
We approach the largest cave on the route. A beautiful picture for a romantic picnic and family photo. Naomi ''Just get ready with Joshua'' was said. "Can I set up the camera?" Holy shit... how long does that thing take? Until suddenly Joris goes down on one knee and takes a small box out of his pocket and conjures up a beautiful ring.
The future
We don't know what the future will bring, but we are both convinced that we want to spend it together.
With our beautiful new house, two 'usually' wonderful sweet children and each other, we know for sure. We can handle the future, whatever it may bring.

The stable factor in Joris's life. When necessary, she stood up for him at a young age and they arranged his first part-time job at McDonald's.
During a wedding of Saskia and Peter, the passion for dancing together was found.
A sister who takes care of it all for a while and can also be guided when necessary. You need someone like that as a master of ceremonies.

In good times and bad, all-round rule chick, from giggles to tears. Lisa is always in for fun and a party but can also be serious. You can have good conversations with her, she is always there for you and is a huge hard worker. Huge admiration for her. Nothing but love!

This song best describes the relationship between father and son. Joris is still told that he looks so much like his father. Probably more than he wants to admit, but that way Naomi already knows what to expect in the coming years.

You see right through me the right way. Mama, you are always there, through wind and rain. You are always your caring and loving self. That is why you will have a special role on this day and you will be present as a witness and you can enjoy this special event. As long as you don't show embarrassing baby pictures on the day itself.. I just see you doing it. All craziness aside, we're having a good party.

Best man and Best friend.
Joris and Teun know each other from dancing with Jac van den Elshout. There was soon a click. Cheering eeach other during dance competition, having a lot of fun and building a beautiful friendship at the same time. We often talk about that time.
Teun is always up for fun. Whether it's going out with the Vastenavend, a beer festival or hanging out in front of the TV Teun is always there when things threaten to get cozy.
